
Most candidates fail system design rounds because they've never been graded on one. This 60-minute mock is built for engineers targeting real infra and distributed systems companies — not generic product-co prep.
What we'll do:
• Real problem from the infra/data world — design a distributed SQL engine, a log-ingestion pipeline, a multi-tenant control plane, a real-time observability system, a vector DB, a CDC pipeline, a workflow orchestrator. Your pick or mine.
• 45 minutes of you driving the design — requirements, capacity, APIs, storage, consensus, sharding, replication, failure modes
• 15 minutes of structured feedback: where you nailed it, where an infra interviewer would push back, exactly what to fix
You'll get:
• A written scorecard graded the way infra teams actually grade (correctness, trade-offs, depth on storage/consistency/scaling)
• Specific concepts and papers to study based on gaps (Raft, MVCC, LSM trees, CRDTs, gossip, watermarking, etc.)
• A recording of the session (on request)
