Hi , I am Shrutkirti , a Backend Software Engineer by profession and a hustler by mindset. I have a total experience of 6+ years in the industry. I have developed products end to end involving Low Level and High level backend system designing. I am experienced in full project development life cycle from design to implementation and Agile development methodologies, DevOps including iterative development. I have worked in 3+ programming languages - Scala , Java , C++ to name a few and 3+ different databases which includes both sql and non-sql dbs (namely Oracle SQL DB , IBM DB2 , MongoDB). I have also worked on couple of middleware systems like Websphere MQ , Tibco , Solace. I have been a part of 2 companies so far as a Software Engineer. Following is a one line about the work in each company. Barclays - Worked in Post-Trade Cash Equities domain of Investment Banking as a software developer. Worked on multiple middle office applications. My work involved updating system designs to get rid of legacy systems and development to onboard new market flows. Morgan Stanley - Investment Banking firm where I am developing highly performant , scalable DataStore. The internally built DataStore uses Bitemporality and Referential Transparency as the key principles which has made it a strategic backend data store for all businesss specific applications across the firm. Both the experiences involved developing a highly concurrent systems that required strong expertise in Multithreading. Other than my technical background I am public speaking enthusiast and have worked as part of NGOs. The dream is to be a better human who constantly hustles, inspires and gets inspired.
