About me
After a year’s work in the Banking Sector following my return to Nagpur from London, I made an unconventional choice of following my creative calling. As a result, Everyone Loves Sparkle was born in the year 2014.
It started with a small customised decor & prop making business, to a full blown creative explosion of a variety of projects. Slowly I moved from doing tablescapes at events, to organising events, painting, doing calligraphy, handling logistics, marketing, finance, providing consultation for events and the list became endless. I got to freelance for projects in product photography styling, visual merchandising, interior styling,
staging, creative visualisation for events, graphic designing projects, gift designing and absolutely anything that needed creative implementation of visual design.
Over the years I started showcasing my work through my Instagram handle @everyone_loves_sparkle
I was building a portfolio of my work and slowly started developing an aesthetic style of my own. Regardless of the versatility of the creative projects undertaken, a strong individual sense of aesthetics started building into my work, which I am absolutely proud of and has become recognisable over the years.
Alongside, I shared my skills and knowledge over a series of workshops. Teaching was both fulfilling and challenging. I was inspired to teach while I was Volunteering as the Creative Director at Zero Gravity of Dr. Shrikant Jichkar Foundation (NGO). Handling a team of volunteers at the Foundation and managing many small teams during the event management projects, I realised there was an extreme gap between skills delivered by people and the quality of work demanded from them. Quality control and skill development amongst the team members has been one of the major challenges faced in creative teams today. Scaling the business becomes an intimidating task for creatives and giving creative direction becomes problematic for large scale organisations. That is where my expertise comes in.
I started giving Creative Consultancy to large and medium scale businesses, to help improve their aesthetics across various departments where visual presentation was of utmost importance. Often, training their teams was involved to assure quality of the visuals was maintained.
Regardless of the maturity of my work and high level of skill involved in putting projects together, children have been the biggest and the most honest appreciators of my work. Their critique (as naive as it may sound) has brought me the most joy in my profession and gives me purpose.
In addition, caring for animals is very important to me and was once volunteering at an animal shelter.
