Hello! I’m a backend focussed software engineer at StoneX Group Inc., working in the Data Integration team. I primarily work with Java, contributing to building applications which help data to replicate across geographical regions(in Redpanda Clusters) using an integration framework - Apache Camel, guaranteeing at least once delivery & in order delivery with latencies under 100ms & averaging at 50 ms. I also build custom metrics to visualise these latencies & delivery states of messages leveraging tools like Micrometer - which further can be plotted on grafana. Apart from this, my current role has allowed me to dive deep into the world of Kafka & how enormous data flows through different messaging systems. Whether it’s organizing my own work or encouraging my team, I enjoy creating resources that make life easier down the line. Apart from this, I love building applications! My go-to stack is Express (Node.js) for the backend, React for the frontend, and databases like MongoDB, MySQL, and occasionally PostgreSQL. During my internship at John Deere, I got to combine these skills to build an MVP application for their infrastructure team, which was a fun and rewarding experience!
