A doctorate in natural product / medicinal chemistry and MBA Graduate in TECHNOLOGY COMMERCILISATION, helped me to become a first generation Technopreneur with rich expertise in Research Commercialization, business development, developing and maintaining strategic partnership relationship in nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industry; I am the Co-founder of TriphasePharmaceuticals, a probiotic R&D company. A background of PhD in addition to an MBA degree allows me to have a viewpoint from the commercialization angle. Besides, I have industry knowledge of out-licensing deals, R&D services, B2B marketing and B2C marketing with an accomplished career spanning over 22 years in this domain . With Experience in both Pharma & nutra industry as well as academia, I am proficient in the process of designing, launching and running a new business. As a first generation Entrepreneur I have also Gained experience in getting funding of different forms , Successfully achieved debt financing from bank and then successfully procured a Series A funding from investors in a high-risk industry. A complete know-how on the process to secure IP and compliances both regulatory and financially is what I bring to the table.
