Shreya is currently a Cloud consultant at AWS and pursues a Master of Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine. Her coursework at UCI covers Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Programming & Problem Solving, and Data Structures, providing her with a strong skill set for addressing complex challenges in the tech industry. Shreya has maintained a perfect GPA of 4.0 in both her Masters and Bachelors, showcasing her dedication to academic excellence. Before starting her graduate studies, Shreya gained valuable industry experience as a Technology Analyst at Citi. In this role, she played a crucial part in the Channels team of the TTS Business unit. She developed payment applications for corporate clients, demonstrating her proficiency in Java. Additionally, she interned as a Summer Analyst in Citi, during the summer of 2021, and her exceptional performance earned her a full-time offer. Shreya has actively participated in various academic and extracurricular activities. She completed her final year BTech Project under the guidance of Dr. Leelavati Narlikar. The project focused on computational biology and highlights her ability to apply theoretical concepts to real-world problems. Shreya's passion for technology goes beyond the classroom, evident in her involvement in hackathons such as the Smart India Hackathon 2020 and IBM Call for Code 2020. She has won the Techgig Geek Goddess American Express AI ML Hackathon in 2021 and was among the top 56 students out of 13,000 participants in ET Coding Campus Stars 2021. She was selected as a Microsoft Engage mentee in November 2021. Outside the tech world, she actively volunteers with the Bhumi Paws Pune NGO, contributing to the welfare of stray animals and showcasing her dedication to making a positive impact on society.
