Currently pursuing my MBA from HEC Paris (QS Global MBA Rankings 2023 - #4 worldwide and #1 in Europe) My past professional experience includes working as the Manufacturing lead for one of the biggest factories in Pune, India for L'Oreal. I have led 2 huge manufacturing units for all 4 technolgies i.e. Hair color, Hair care, Make up and Skin care. Key responsibilities involved in my role were planning and manufacturing of batches on a daily shift wise basis, development of the team involved (Team lead for 36 unionised skilled operators), optimum budgeting activity, productivity improvement projects and spearheading key sustainability projects for the plant. I Led a key launch of FITME foundation in India that involved planning of launch quantities, selection and installation of new manufacturing vessel and involvement in technical design of the vessel. I was the first and the only shade matching expert for FITME foundation (first foundation launch for the Pune factory) Previously have worked as a New Product Launch Manager at L'ORÉAL, Pune Factory. With this role, i have been exposed to handling multiple launch projects across all categories i.e. Hair care, Skin care, Hair color and Make-up. Some key aspects of my role includes detailing on new machine investment,setup of new equipments, costing of the product, co-ordination with planners on material procurement, managing stakeholders from Product Development and Packaging team and centrally co-ordinating the entire project launch right from its commencement state to its delivery to Supply chain teams. Previous to taking up this role, i was working with Engineering and EHS department for 1.5 years. During which, i managed innovative sustainability projects around circular economy, cardboard and plastic waste reduction. Currently along with the Supply chain role, i am handling 2 major projects on "War against Plastic" at L'ORÉAL. This includes, making plastic pallets from plastic waste and making suply chain operations free of plastic stretch wrapping. I was also a part of the Factory Energy cell, thus being a part of projects aimed at reducing energy consumption.
