I have worked with Start-ups, Freelancers, Consultancies, and Large Corporations. What I've realised is that marketing isn't something that you learn once and crack strategies (Ironical coming from someone who had marketing as her major in both grad and post-grad). Marketing is a mindset, where you objectively set your goals, but have to push beyond set limits to achieve them via experimentation. Bare minimum never cuts it, and it never goes as planned.
