About me
With over 7 years of expertise in designing complex systems, machines, and interactions, I bring a unique blend of skills as a manufacturing engineer with a Master's from IIT Bombay and training in Qualitative Research Methodologies from the London School of Economics. My roles have spanned from designing to managing products, focusing on early-stage R&D using both user-centred & technology-centred approaches to problem-solving.
I excel in root-cause analysis, system dynamics modelling, value proposition mapping, and evaluating product-market fit. My structured design and user research skills have been honed through high-impact government and privately funded projects. I contributed to India's first Mission Critical Communications Application for Mass Transit with a focus on metro services, which is now adopted by major metro services across Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Nagpur, Dhaka, and soon Noida International Airport.
I have extensive experience in identifying value propositions, creating MVP specifications, developing strategy roadmaps, implementing Value-sensitive designs, discovering unmet user needs, and designing user research studies for diverse groups, including those at the base of the pyramid. During my Master's, I was awarded the prestigious 'Tata Fellowship' for Technology Design & Development and one of the five Outstanding Graduating Student Member by the Director at the Institute Valedictory Function 2017.
Currently, I drive innovation at FormFour Systems, leading the development of a platform to enable Predictive Maintenance of business-critical machines. Leveraging my expertise in fracture mechanics and vibration analysis, I have developed two knowledge-based models that transform industrial machine data into actionable insights, minimizing machine downtime, fault troubleshooting time, and optimizing energy efficiency, resulting in significant energy savings and sustainable factory operations that can scale.
