Characteristically Shreekant had completed CFA, CAIA and FRM at the age of 25 and also held double masters from Mumbai University. As on date he holds 7 PG qualifications. Shreekant has a wide knowledge base across asset classes and finance domains. He is a cross function between a professional who has worked in structured finance and investments. Shreekant's experience ranges from an investment banker on the debt capital market side to dealing on the sell side for non-performing assets and later in his career rating them as well. He was involved in forensic check and oversight of a large telecom infrastructure client. He has valued structured finance assets in the EMEA region. Later he undertook assignments on rating structured bonds, asset backed securities, mutual funds and non-performing assets in India. In his previous role he oversaw CAIA's operations in India by maintaining dialogue within alternative investments ecosystem using his core strength of research to solicit conversations. He has held a honorary position with SEBI as a member of a working group advising around policy and advocacy. Shreekant has been severally quoted in journals, newspapers, press releases and in digital media.
