The summary of my career so far is that I started from selling flavoured makhana(snacks) at a petrol pump and went on to work for the Make in India Mission, advising the Prime Minister's office on Investments ,Policy and Business Affairs. As a 18 year old I was fortunate enough to be offered admission to Ashoka University where I completed my undergraduate in Political Science (Hons). Post graduation I interned with the International Institute of Strategic Studies, in London advising the British Government on Afghanistan. Although extremely exciting I shifted my focus to the corporate world post this internship to broaden my horizons. I explored both Venture Capital at Onnivation Ventures and Consulting at Euromonitor realising I wanted to do an MBA in the process. Before I could do that however I received a once in a lifetime offer by Invest India, the national investment promotion agency of India, where I was hired as an Policy and Investment specialist to attract greater investments from the world into India, enhance EU-India dialogue on investments and trade, advice the highest offices in the nation on matters pertaining to ease of doing business and investment promotion as well as work on bolstering the Indian startup ecosystem by attracting greater LP(large pension and sovereign wealth funds) allocation to Indian venture capital and investment firms. Post nearly a year at Invest India I'm currently pursuing my MBA degree at BITSoM, Mumbai.
