Unlike what most people assumed when I chose to pursue a BA degree in a country like India, I didn’t end up “settling” or compromising on ambition. I became a writer. Today, I work full-time as a Copywriter for an ed-tech company and a Content Creator for myself, something very few people imagined when I took the non-traditional route. I choose the companies I want to work for. And I leave when I face ethical issues, creative restrictions, or if a place stops offering the kind of work I want to do. In just two years of work experience, I’m already on my third job, not because I’m unstable, but because I’ve learned how to position myself as someone companies want to hire. I don’t chase recruiters. I’ve built a profile that attracts opportunities on its own. And that’s exactly what I want more people to understand. A good career isn’t built on luck. It’s built on: • knowing your strengths • understanding how to present them • learning how to communicate your value • building a personal identity people remember • and being able to walk away from places that don’t respect your work I’m not here to write your resume for you or create your personal brand for you. I’m here to teach you how to build it yourself in a way that’s true to who you are and stronger than anything someone else could make for you.
