"I'm an entrepreneur that took the leap, and lives in the happiness of her dreams everyday. " Shivani Chetty is a South African born tech entrepreneur of Indian descent, start-up founder and business coach. Currently she is in the Netherlands, setting up the European branch of her event tech company EventMate and launching an innovative digital marketing agency that caters exclusively to tech startups. She lived in Asia for a year and a half, looking at how to set up development and customer service teams in India. Her dream is to create low-cost apps that help small and informal businesses, in second world developing countries, to grow and turn a profit, that helps them in turn to grow and feed their families and communities. And to help tech founders to scale as she did with both her companies. Her purpose is to help people evolve and grow through the guidance of her own life experiences, failures, inner work, wisdom, and knowledge. She is a Google Africa developer scholar in mobile web and android development, and an Arizona State University (US) and University of the Witwatersrand graduate (SA). Shivani has gained recognition through the continent of Africa in various entrepreneurship competitions. In 2023, she was nominated the President of the Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry's (WICCI) : ITeS and Digital Commerce Council in Delhi (India). In 2023, she was graciously nominated as a Global 200 Inspirational leader at the 11th White Page Leadership Conclave. In 2024, she was awarded a nobility title of honour; Marchioness, by the Institut de la Maison Impériale d'Haïti for the invaluable contributions made to society. Her official title is Son Excellence Madame la marquise de Chetty.
