Hello, I'm Shivam Mishra from Najafgarh, a small place on the outskirts of Delhi. As a school kid, one of the toughest challenges was identifying the opportunities available to me. After completing my 10th class, I still grappled with the question of what path to pursue. Eventually, I secured admission to an Engineering college and pursued B.tech in mechanical and automation engineering. During my 4 years of college, I had the privilege of being the president of the western dance team. This role allowed me to lead a team of 25 members and 3 choreographers for inter-college events. It was a transformative experience, teaching me valuable lessons in leadership, dealing with successes and failures, and keeping the team motivated and focused. During my tenure, I also had the opportunity to mentor and select 10 junior team members, fostering a sense of guidance and support within the team. After college, I joined Infosys Limited as a Senior System Engineer, specializing in product management and product customization. In my role, our team implemented agile methodologies to effectively function and maintain our product. Throughout my college days, my fascination for understanding and connecting with people surpassed any interest in machines within the classroom. This profound intrigue ignited a passionate desire to explore a domain that revolves around the human aspect of business. It became the driving force behind my decision to pursue an MBA with a specialization in HRM, as I yearned to delve deeply into the intricacies of human resources and gain comprehensive knowledge both academically and practically. I knew that by immersing myself in this field and learning from the best in the industry, I could fully indulge my curiosity and make a significant impact in the realm of human resource management. Apart from these I have interest in playing cricket and discussing cricket matches with my friends, I also love to dance whenever I get time to make me feel free and relax, I also like to storytelling, skits and jokes, which I will try to perform at upcoming future at some place where I can share some joy with my act.
