Ms. Anand is one of the highly experienced & sought after Design Educator par excellence, with thorough command over subjects such as 3D V & R, Design Fundamentals, Elements & Principles of Design, Fashion Illustration, Draping, Elements of Fashion, Design Thinking, Design Process, Merchandising & Collection planning & range development. She is an eminent Trainer at Faculty Development programes in Design domain besides being a Guest faculty at FDDI, J D Institute Lucknow. She has been a contributing force as founding team of at least four Design institutes/ departments and thrives on putting together nascent setups. Ms. Anand has scripted G11 & G12 text books, as per the ISC FD (865) curriculum, for Fashion Design elective for her partner schools that started the subject in our consultancy, where she put in place the entire learning ecosystem. Ms. Anand has graced the FDDI Chhindwara Convocation 2022 as the Guest of Honour. As an empanelled designer with DC (Handicrafts), she has worked extensively in the crafts of Chikankari & Zari-Zardosi & carries an industry experience with names like Lacoste, Wild Orchids & P R Chikans. She has been regular as panelist and jury to various handicraft and design seminars, panel discussions like Lulu Fashion Forum Lucknow, fashion events and awards selection committees. Ms. Anand has been a talk show guest on Fashion segment of erstwhile ETV (now News18) program called ‘Sangini for Women’ for the period of 2006-2016. She believes that ‘Design is a powerful instrument of change and improves quality of life from micro to macro level’ and has been dedicated to shaping lives of many successful designers & entrepreneurs and artisans, emerging out of Lucknow, since last 28 plus years impacting 50k plus lives along the way.
