I build platforms that other engineers rely on — and make sure they never have to think about them. Senior Platform & SRE Engineer with ~12 years across the full reliability stack: distributed systems, observability, infrastructure automation, performance engineering, and AI-powered platform tooling. At Wayfair, I operate across all these layers for an environment running 5,000+ microservices. Led a engineering DevOps team and built SRE teams from scratch at organizations. How I can help you on this call: - Starting out or transitioning into SRE/DevOps/Software - Engineering/Solution Architecture: I'll help you understand what each role actually involves day-to-day, which fits your background, and build a personalized learning path — tools, certifications, project work, and interview prep — mapped out so you know exactly what to learn next. - Moving into engineering management: Guidance on 30-60-90 day onboarding plans, on-call/incident ownership models, hiring frameworks, and team structure — based on building and leading SRE/DevOps teams firsthand. - Staying an IC and going deep: Not everyone wants to manage — that's fine. I'll help you build a specialization and growth plan toward staff/principal-level technical seniority instead. What I've actually built in brief: - Kubernetes cluster ops at scale, Kafka as managed internal platform, ELK→Datadog migration (25% cost cut), distributed tracing across 500+ services (~30% faster debugging), SLI/SLO practices (~35% less alert fatigue) - Terraform/GitOps automation cutting environment provisioning 40-50%, performance testing platform at 20K+ RPS - AI platform tooling: self-healing observability (auto-remediates gaps across ~5,000 repos), AI PR risk classification, MCP server ecosystem, DORA + AI velocity tracking Certified SRE Foundation™ engineer, Top 1% Contributor on Topmate, speaker at GDG/SRE Meetups (250+ attendees), Best Innovative Solution — APAC Region (Credit Suisse).
