I am currently heading Finance and Business at an early-stage startup which is backed by marquee investors and is growing at a very rapid pace. Previously, I was an investor on the buy-side with investing experience in the Public Equity markets within the Fundamental Equity team at Goldman Sachs Asset Management for 3 years where I focused on sectors including Insurance/InsureTech, Consumer Finance/FinTech and Consumer Staples in the US Small Cap space. Prior to the Fundamental Equity team, I worked with a Global Long/Short Hedge Fund (Goldman Sachs Investment Partners) with a broad sector focus within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. I have a keen interest in the Indian Startup ecosystem and the pace of innovation and growth that is happening on ground. I also believe that there’s immense scope for the impact investment space in India, aligning investment outcomes with UN’s SDGs, especially gender-equality, and is something I would love to explore on a part time basis as it would marry my investing and entrepreneurial experience very well.
