As a dedicated and innovative Startup Founder, and from my most previous experience as a Security Engineer Intern at TikTok, I specialize in optimizing and enhancing security tools and technologies within high-stakes environments. With a solid educational foundation in Information Technology and Cybersecurity from Marymount University, where I’ve been recognized as a Dean’s List Scholar, I bring a robust blend of academic excellence and practical experience to the field of cybersecurity. My journey in cybersecurity has been marked by diverse and impactful roles, from conducting continuous monitoring and integrating advanced security technologies at TikTok to leveraging Python and Power Queries to streamline SOC control processes at Workday. During my tenure at AARP, I played a pivotal role in fortifying the cybersecurity posture by integrating cutting-edge tools and conducting thorough threat detection and vulnerability assessments. In addition to my professional experiences, I’ve actively contributed to various university projects, where I applied my knowledge of Python, AWS, and UiPath to develop and enhance applications that support Marymount University’s student athletes. My technical skills are complemented by a suite of certifications and the pursuit of several other notable badges. My expertise extends across multiple security domains, including DevSecOps, cloud security, malware analysis, network security, cryptography, detection engineering, and threat intelligence. I’m proficient in a variety of tools and technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Wiz, Qualys, Crowdstrike, Imperva, Wireshark, NMAP, Splunk, and Jira, which I leverage to implement robust security protocols and processes.
