Sheetij is currently working as an Investment Banker at Avendus Capital. He did his MBA from IIM Lucknow with specialisation in Finance & Strategy. He had also got selected for Capgemini ELITE General Management Program and did his summer internship with Piramal Group, Chairman’s Office devising growth strategy for PEL’s NBFC business. Also, he is pursuing CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) from the CFA Institute, USA and has cleared 2 levels of CFA. During his stint at IIM-L, he was awarded with Certificate of Merit from the PGP Chair for being an institute ranker in Term-3 and was also felicitated by Prof. Archana Shukla (Director, IIM-L) for excellence in Corporate Case Competitions. He was the National Winner of TVS Credit EPIC Finance Challenge and has been featured in TOI, BW Businessworld magazine and Unstop (formerly Dare2Compete). Till date, he has secured Top 3 positions in 20+ National Business Competitions and has won a cash prize of more than ₹2.5 Lakhs. He also co-founded Chit Chat Chai (C3), IIM-L’s first ever canteen for students, admin & faculty and was also a core member of Annapoorna Mess of IIM-L. Prior to joining IIM-L, he worked for 3 years as Research Associate II at S&P Global Market Intelligence (formerly S&P Capital IQ and SNL Financial), a division of S&P Global (NYSE: SPGI) in Reference Data - Entity Management domain. He was conferred with 5 ‘Going an Extra Mile’ and Bronze ACE Excellence award for exceptional work and impressive contribution in the category of Drive performance and was also bestowed with Best Mentor Award and spearheaded 25+ knowledge sessions over 6 months and was also selected as a subject matter expert for conducting process overview sessions for the new senior management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Management (BMS) with Specialisation in Finance from Keshav Mahavidyalaya, University of Delhi and secured 1st Rank in KMV and 8th Rank in BMS in entire DU. He held various positions of responsibility like Treasurer of Student Council, BMS and Vice President of Rotaract Club of KMV. He also co-founded Finance & Investment Cell and Quizzing Cell of KMV and was the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Netopp (a web based Start-Up by BMS Students). He did his schooling from Maharaja Agarsain Public School and was appointed as the Vice head boy and was conferred with Best Agarsainian (Highest Honor of School), Best Student, Consistent Scholar (6 years) Award and a scholarship for securing 10 CGPA in Class X and for securing 1st Rank in Class XI.
