Shrushti is currently a R&D Astronaut Candidate (ASCAN) with Titans Space Industries (TSI), where she is training as part of future human spaceflight programs. Shrushti Patil is also a space biologist and human space research professional working at the intersection of life sciences and space exploration. She has hands-on experience in designing and developing life-science experiments for space missions and has been part of two successful suborbital missions, contributing to microgravity-based biological research. She has worked with an Australian space biotechnology company, where her work focused on space biology payloads, astronaut health research, and translational applications of microgravity science for Earth-based healthcare and pharmaceutical innovation. Alongside her technical work, she is the Founder of SHe In Space, a global initiative focused on mentorship, education, and workforce development for upcoming generation aspiring to build careers in the space sector. Through her work, Shrushti aims to bridge science, human exploration, and access - helping the next generation understand where life truly meets space.
