Hey there! I’m Shaurya Malhan, a pre-final-year data science and artificial intelligence undergrad at IIIT Naya Raipur with a strong interest in software development, machine learning, and competitive programming. Over the past few years, I’ve worked across the stack — building web apps using MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js), along with FastAPI — and diving into ML projects focused on image super-resolution and generative models. I interned at CDAC Noida, where I got hands-on experience working on real-world applications, and also represented my institute in the Smart India Hackathon, where our project, Path Pilot, secured 4th place nationally. When I’m not coding, I’m usually solving algorithmic puzzles — I’m a 5★ on CodeChef, Expert on Codeforces, and Guardian on LeetCode. Competitive programming has taught me how to think deeply, solve problems fast, and never give up when things get tricky. Outside of tech, I serve as the Head of the Training & Placement Cell at IIIT NR, leading a team that bridges the gap between students and top-tier recruiters.
