Hume Philosophy Tutorials (Information Session)

I didn't know how to pursue philosophy in Singapore.

So, I went to go study at Oxford.

I am now bringing back what I learned.

It seems obvious to me that asking the biggest and most important questions is worth doing. I don't really understand why others don't do it as much.

I created this Hume Philosophy Tutorials because I think there should be more engagement with philosophy in Singapore. Philosophy makes us think clearly, critically and creatively. Philosophy makes us better at language and learning. Throughout most of history an education was not complete without studying philosophy - so why should we accept its absence now?

With us, you will experience Oxbridge-style philosophy tutorials. These are one-to-one sessions for an hour, where the tutor reads and discusses an essay that the student writes in preparation for the tutorial. Topics can be chosen by the student or the tutor, as long as both are interested in the subject.
