Nitin Sharma is a confident young strategist working with National/ Government enterprises and private sectors on the themes of strategy and operational excellence; emphasizing the importance of holistically addressing operational capabilities and improving performance. Presently engaged as Senior Consultant in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and leads the IT Hardware segment of Industrial Promotion-Electronics & Hardware Manufacturing Division (IPHW). During his illustrious career, he has held many key positions at the GoI assignments with MeitY and Customs. He authored the landmark Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme 2.0 for IT Hardware. The PLI Scheme has since become the template for promoting manufacturing in India, , the scheme has been adopted in 12 other sectors. Nitin is the key architect of the National Trade Facilitation Action Plan to boost trade facilitation and attract large-scale investments in India.
