As a Lead Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute India, I design and develop innovative solutions for the Samsung Ads platform, leveraging my skills in Golang, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS. I am passionate about creating scalable and reliable systems that deliver value to our advertisers and users.
One of my proudest achievements is leading the design and development of the Forecasting Service, which predicts impressions for campaigns set up by advertisers on the Samsung native demand-side platform. This service achieved a remarkable improvement in forecast latency, reducing it to within 5 seconds from the traditional slow and inaccurate method. I also implemented real-time data ingestion using Apache Druid and efficiently managed data cardinality with probabilistic data structures like Theta Sketches and Tuple Sketch.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi in 2020. During my studies, I completed various projects and certifications in machine learning, web development, and Rust programming and participated in several research and internship projects with reputed organizations like Hewlett Packard Enterprise and the Indian Academy of Sciences(IISC).
