Writing for films - advertising and content - is super critical these days. The film medium - whether for ad films or digital videos or TV serials or social media or even commercial films and web series - is a hugely popular and growing niche.

You can now learn from my vast experience of over 25 years in scriptwriting for ads and films in a first of its kind workshop - from October 21, 2023 to December 10, 2023.

What the workshop covers:

1. Fundamentals of scriptwriting
2. How to write scripts & films for ads
3. How to write scripts & films for social media
4. How to craft content for TV, commercial films & web series
5. How to write across genres - humor, drama, thrillers, horror, romance, and more
6. How to write better in Hindi
7. Fundamentals of copywriting and how they apply to scriptwriting
8. Understanding the role of music and jingles in scriptwriting
9. Understanding the role of direction and editing in the process of writing scripts
10. Certificates on completion

What the workshop entails:

1. 15 sessions of 3 hours each. That’s 45 hours of intensive learning
2. All sessions will be live and also recorded - with recordings and presentations provided to everyone in the cohort
3. Regular assignments and feedback to help you hone your course learnings and skills
4. 3 guest lectures from eminent personalities from advertising and films, especially from a writing and crafting standpoint
5. Learning not just writing but also visualizing films like a director or screenplay writer would
6. Sessions would be on Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons to make it convenient for all. There might also be one weekday session. Timings would be fixed in accordance with the cohort and keeping in mind working professionals and their time

The sessions are ideal both for beginners and aspirants and also for those with experience in the field.

The sessions begin from Saturday, October 21, 2023. Final date to join the cohort would be by Friday, October 20, 2023.

I tend to prefer smaller batch sizes for more personal attention and feedback. Hence, there are limited seats.
