I wasn’t aware of design as a career when I started out. I come from a mechanical engineering background, and like many students, I chose it because it felt like the “right” path. But at the same time, I was always drawn to art, sketching, and making things by hands.....I just didn’t know there was a field where all of this came together. During my engineering, I discovered design .....and that completely changed my direction. It felt like the first time my interests and skills actually aligned. I went on to prepare for design entrances and secured AIR 6 in CEED 2020, along with a top rank in NID DAT, which led me to pursue my Master’s in Transportation Design from NID Gandhinagar. Today, I work as an Industrial Designer at ideaForge, where I design UAV and mobility systems....from early concepts to full-scale prototypes. My work focuses on balancing aesthetics, engineering constraints, ergonomics, and real-world usability.
