As a Public Policy graduate from the Harris School of Public Policy, University of Chicago, I recognize the indispensability of data but also recognize that nuances of the policy issues we face today are not always reflected in the data available to us. I enjoy work that allows us to bridge this gap. I currently work as a Consultant for the Asian Development Bank. I contribute to the different parts of an annual ADB key indicators publication, which entails the preparation and production of statistical tables (economy tables, regional input-output tables, global value chains), charts and figures in the write-ups, and presentation materials. I am team leader for the SEEA team. In addition to these, I contribute to teams working on Taxes and the Non-observed Economy. My personal research interests reside at the intersection of gender and economic inclusion. I deeply care about women's financial inclusion and learning more about the mechanisms of household financial decision making in developing countries.
