Dr. Shambhavi Das is a Music Therapist and an Indian music vocalist. She did her PhD from Delhi University. She has been a therapist since 2017 and also runs her own therapy centre called Surdemy. As a therapist she helps people with ADHD, Autism, Bipolar, Personality Disorder, Hypertension and other mental disorders. She has published around 40 research papers and presented around 35 workshops on music therapy including hospitals (Kamineni Medical college, Apollo Foundation) and educational institutions like Mumbai University, Kolkata university etc. She is a faculty and a Guest Lecturer in Yenepoya Medical Centre Mangalore, Meera Center for Music Therapy, Bengaluru, who teaches music therapy. She has been the recipient of awards like Best Educator Award-2022, Radha Sairam Music Therapist of the year 2021, Savyasachi Award, Best Teacher award, NADA award for Excellence, Winner of Top-Educator award 2022, Most Inspiring Woman Award. She has been a resource faculty in Yenepoya University. She is an article writer in B-Positive Magazine and Time-To-Get-Healthy. She has been conducting research work on music & Cognition from DRDO-INMAS Delhi. She has created 4 courses on music & therapy which has been credited the Top-10 courses on Udemy.
