Hello, I'm Shaik Khader. My journey has been shaped by countless small choices along the way. I have total 16 years of formal education , 16 years of professional career with Fortune 500 regarded companies and now in pursuit of my passion towards sharing and caring for possibly next 16 years and more . Let me take you through my journey. It all began in 2007 when I interviewed with Wipro and was selected. This experience certainly boosted my confidence. But due to the unfortunate events of the 2008 recession, I was impacted. I made a choice to explore my options so I could wait for things to settle. I shifted to the banking domain and pursued a diploma, gaining knowledge in finance. This choice helped me explore Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India. After working as a customer service manager at the bank for a year, I realized my true passion lay in technology. I made the decision to move to Bangalore and began my journey as an Android developer in a multinational corporation. I moved between companies during the early stages of my career as I searched for the right fit. Later, I joined Philips, where I found a sense of connection and was consistently challenged. My efforts were recognized, and I gradually ascended the career ladder from a senior Android developer to a technical lead and eventually to a Mobile Application Architect. Realizing the importance of understanding product development, business processes, and organizational dynamics, I made the decision to pursue a General Management course from IIM Bangalore. There, I specialized in product management, further enriching my skill set. To apply my newfound understanding from the course, I decided on the transition to Signify (formerly Philips Lighting) during the COVID-19 pandemic. This move provided me with the opportunity to showcase and refine my skills in managing virtual teams and product development. Looking back, I've come to understand that change is the only constant. Reflecting on where I started, it's clear that embracing change has been a fundamental aspect of my journey. Now I have decided to guide young talent with the product and organizational knowledge I've accumulated, while exploring new-age technology alongside them. I hope to match their energy and enthusiasm as we navigate this journey together.
