I have been applying data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and IoT to fields other than astronomy. I have completed several online courses and certifications on these topics, and I have been providing financial and fintech analytics and consulting services to various clients. I am passionate about evolving the teaching, mentoring, and curriculum in astronomy, physics, and engineering, and promoting a practical and basic engineering training to youngsters. Additionally, I have liaised with defense and industry organizations to drive innovation and foster partnerships for a technology-hungry country. As an Associate Professor at IIT Indore, I have been teaching and researching at the Department of Astronomy, Astrophysics and Space Engineering for over eight years. My field of expertise is observational cosmology and experimental astrophysics, with a focus on radio astronomy and radio telescope construction and deployment. I have led the design and assembly of a four-dish C-band array at IIT Indore, which is a cutting-edge project that requires, involves, and leads to major developments in technology in India.
