I have had the privilege of completing the full circle of Agency(Madison & GroupM) > Client(Cleartrip) > Publisher(META-Ex Facebook) > Entrepreneur (Travel Buddy - Current). My biggest strength is my ability to constantly learn and adapt and action. I use my passions(Digital Marketing & Travel) to naturally extend to the product that I am building. I currently have been running Travel Buddy - A Social Travel Commerce Network. We are disrupting the Travel Industry by building a 2 sided social commerce platform providing Travelers Community and Marketplace - Directly Connected. Started in 2020 along with two other Co-Founders, today Travel Buddy boasts of 2 Mn + Travelers, 70K + Travel Providers, and backing from angel investment companies like Mumbai Angels and Keiretsu. I was an Industry Manager at Facebook (Now META) from 2014 - 2020 for the Travel Category. I build the Travel Ad Sales client portfolio from scratch starting with 2-3 clients in 2014 and taking it to 20 clients by 2019. I was in an IC role all these 7 years and worked with 100's of Cross Functional Partners across the World within the company. I have worked on clients like Uber, OLA, OYO, Go-MMT, Club Mahindra, Cleartrip, Rapido, Zoomcar, Spicejet, Taj and many many more. I worked with Cleartrip as the Head – Online Marketing from 2010-2014. My responsibilities included Customer Acquisitions across various platforms on Digital primarily SEM, Display, Affiliates, Social Media, Mobile, Meta Search, and many more. Me and my team were Responsible for Online B2C site health in terms of Visits and Searches! We worked closely with Business and Alliance teams inside the company to customize offers suited to the customer and equally beneficial to our end profitabilities! From 2003 to 2010, I worked with reputed Ad Agencies like Madison Media (Media Planner) , Group M/MEC (Senior Media Planner), Webchutney (Group Head - Business Developement), RK Swamy BBDO (General Manager - Integrated Marketing Solutions). I love what I do - building a product nowadays , selling to top CXO's at META, Ensuring the traffic to a top e-commerce travel site at Cleartrip or evangelizing to clients about integrated marketing in my agency life.
