Hi, I'm Saumyaranjan — a Data Analyst with 4+ years of experience across data validation, Power BI reporting, SQL, and more recently, GenAI and RAG-based solutions. I've studied and am currently working in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 as a Project Data Analyst. I hold an MSc in Data Science from the University of East Anglia, UK, and my journey — from a mechanical engineering background, through software QA, and into data analytics and AI — has taught me that breaking into this field is less about knowing everything and more about knowing what actually gets tested and what recruiters look for. That's why I created this space: to help aspiring data analysts and BI professionals prepare with real, industry-relevant material — not generic theory. Here's how I can help you: Interview Preparation — Curated, real-world Power BI, SQL, and DAX interview questions based on what's actually asked in analyst and BI interviews. Portfolio Projects — End-to-end Power BI and SQL project templates (dashboards, data models, star schemas) you can showcase to recruiters. Career Guidance — 1:1 sessions on resume building, transitioning into data roles (including from non-analytics backgrounds), and interview strategy. Study Abroad Guidance — Personal insights and guidance for students considering an MSc in Data Science or related fields in the UK, based on my own experience at UEA. If you're trying to break into data analytics, sharpen your BI/SQL skills, or figure out your study-abroad or career path, I'd love to help you get there faster than I did.
