As a Product Data Security Engineer at Finastra, I work on ensuring the security and compliance of the data that powers the world's leading financial software solutions. I apply my skills and knowledge in cybersecurity incident management, cyber kill chain framework, and Azure Sentinel to monitor, detect, and respond to threats and vulnerabilities, and to protect the data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. I have a Master of Technology degree in Computer Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where I learned how to design, develop, and test software applications and systems. Before joining Finastra, I was a GSOC Team Lead and a Global SOC Shift Lead at KPMG India, where I led and supervised the security operations center team and handled multiple cybersecurity incidents and projects. I have also earned several certifications from Microsoft and Palo Alto Networks that demonstrate my proficiency and competence in Azure and cybersecurity domains. I am passionate about working on cybersecurity technologies and solving complex security problems. I enjoy giving presentations on various pressing topics and sharing my insights and best practices with others. I also like to challenge myself and learn new skills and tools that can help me improve my performance and effectiveness. My goal is to advance my career as a data governance and privacy engineer and contribute to the security and innovation of the financial software industry.
