What this session is really about

Most audit interviews don’t fail because of lack of knowledge. They fail because candidates over-explain controls, under-explain thinking, or panic when asked “why.”

This session simulates how audit and GRC interviews actually work — not how blogs describe them.

What we’ll do

1. Run a realistic mock interview with audit-style and scenario-based questions
2. Test how you explain risk, controls, evidence, and decisions
3. Pause and unpack why certain answers work and others don’t
4. Practice responding to follow-ups without sounding defensive or scripted

Questions may cover:

1. Risk assessment scenarios
2. Control design and effectiveness
3. Audit findings and exceptions
4. Evidence selection and justification
5. Stakeholder communication during audits

What we won’t do

1. Memorize framework clauses
2. Give “perfect” model answers
3. Turn this into a certification prep session
