Starting a job search in Germany can be challenging for international professionals, especially when it comes to finding companies that advertise English-speaking roles and have experience recruiting internationally.
To make the search easier, I’ve put together a carefully curated list of more than 1,000 companies that did not require German for most of the roles I reviewed over the past year.
More than 250 of these companies have also indicated visa or relocation support in job postings, career pages, or employer information.
The list is designed as a starting point for your employer research. It does not show current vacancies and does not guarantee that every position will be available in English or include immigration or relocation support. Always check the company’s current career page before applying.
The list covers companies across a wide range of industries and regions throughout Germany and includes useful links to help you continue your research.
I’ve also included links to Glassdoor and Kununu profiles where available. These are employer review platforms where current and former employees share information about salaries, working conditions, company culture, and their experience with the employer. They can give you a better impression of a company before you decide to apply.
The list includes:
☑️ 1,000+ companies that have advertised English-speaking roles
☑️ 250+ companies that have indicated visa or relocation support
☑️ Short company descriptions and industry information
☑️ Links to company career pages and LinkedIn profiles
☑️ Links to Glassdoor and Kununu employer reviews where available
☑️ Provided as a Google Sheet that you can browse online
☑️ Make your own copy to sort, filter, add notes, and organize your job search
☑️ Download your copy if you prefer to work with it offline
☑️ Free access
☑️ Last updated: July 2026
☑️ Updated quarterly
Use the list to identify employers worth researching, explore companies outside the usual job boards, and build your own shortlist of organizations that have previously advertised English-speaking roles.
