Hi there! I'm presently working as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon AWS. I hold a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelors in Computer Science from Siddaganga Institute of Technology, India. In the past, I have worked at Cisco and led many software initiatives including the automation of tasks to improve developer productivity, the development of a tool to help network engineers troubleshoot and identify network issues at scale, contributing to improvising the IOS of the switches, and implementation of complex network changes in minimal/no downtime. During my sprint at Cisco, I became CCNA and DevNet certified. During my masters, I worked as a Teaching Assistant- Course Producer, and Course Grader for a Masters level course, Database Systems, and an undergrad-level, Data Structure course at USC. I also had an opportunity to serve as a lead editor in Trojan Bloom, the multilingual journal of USC. In addition, I worked as a Program Designer and Mentor among 17 Masters and PhD students selected for Google's ExploreCSR program at USC, where I led the Statistical Machine Learning track, designed the structuring of the whole program, and mentored students through workshops and projects. During my undergraduate years, I initiated and delivered 15+ software products for my institution, including the launch of the Job Placements app for the Training and Placement cell. I am the Founder of Scriptink, the Literary club of the institution, where I led a team that launched the institute's first real-time Android app-based market product for literature, gaining traction of over 5000 users within 90 days. Scriptink now boasts 40 members and 10,000+ user interactions across various platforms. I secured funding for Scriptink through the Computer Society of India and the college management and invested in its growth & organized the annual Literature Festival witnessing 500+ participants every year.
