Hi, I’m Sarthak — a MEXT scholar, developer, and student currently living in Japan. My path has been anything but conventional: I studied Japanese at JNU and Data Science at IIT Madras at the same time, worked full-time as a developer for a European startup, earned admission to IIM, and ultimately chose the MEXT scholarship and Japan. That mix taught me how to navigate competitive applications, uncertain career decisions, studying across disciplines, moving abroad, and building a technical career without following a standard playbook. I can help you with: • Building a focused MEXT application strategy • Reviewing your application story and documents • Understanding study, work, and everyday life in Japan • Choosing between competing academic or career paths • Breaking into tech and building credible projects • Learning Japanese with realistic expectations My sessions are practical and direct. I’ll tell you what worked for me, what didn’t, and what I would prioritize in your position. You’ll leave with clear next steps—not vague motivation. I can’t guarantee scholarship selection, admission, or employment. What I can offer is thoughtful, honest guidance grounded in firsthand experience.
