I am currently pursuing a funded PhD programme in Sport Economics and Governance looking at "Financial and Governance issues in Asian football" and working full-time as a Lecturer in Sport Management at University of Portsmouth. A first-class Sport Business Management graduate with Transform Together Scholarship from Sheffield Hallam University. Have the experience of working in media industry both in a content and business development roles. Worked as the editor of leading Indian cricket content website, CricTracker during its initial stages between 2012 and 2014, and as a content developer for FeverPitch between 2016 and 2017. Covered the Rugby Union and Ice Hockey fixtures for Forge TV in Sheffield Varsity 2019. Worked in mega-events such as the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in customer facing roles and volunteer for organisations such as BUCS in free time. Executive Board Member and Social media/Podcast leads for The Football Collective, which is a group of over 250 academics teaching or studying sports across the world. Also worked as a member of the Inclusion Advisory Group at Sheffield and Hallamshire County FA, where I championed against discrimination in football and offer independent advice to football clubs on the aspects of inclusion irrespective of race, gender, religious beliefs, ethnicity, etc.
