I bring over 20 years of diverse IT experience, with a strong focus on enterprise applications, data, strategy, digital transformation, and project management. My core strengths lie in aligning IT solutions with business objectives, leading cross-functional teams, and driving innovation through bespoke applications and modern technologies like AI and cloud. In terms of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working in both mature and emerging markets, across India, UAE, Qatar, and more recently Iraq, where I’m currently engaged with BP’s joint venture — Basra Energy Company. I serve as the Digital Factory Lead, where I oversee a team delivering high-impact custom applications tailored to the operational needs of upstream activities. One of my proudest accomplishments in this role has been reducing production reporting time by 33% for Rumaila’s Subsurface teams — achieved through a combination of process re-engineering, standardizing data sets and bespoke digital tools. I have delivered applications like the Wellwork Evaluation Tool and SatMaps, each within a tight timeframe of 6-month, by collaborating closely with Petrotechnical teams and applying Agile methodologies. I've also developed a re-usable platform for submitting checklists and self-verifications. This is already being used across various departments and we've identified several other use-cases. Before this, I worked in Qatar on distinct roles. There I led a cross-functional team on a multi-year digital transformation project which completely changed the way we managed our operations & fuel distribution. This resulted in significant cost-saving for the business and much better customer satisfaction across our various lines of business. In order to achieve this, we had to first get our data right. First, I implemented a Master Data Management solution that significantly improved data governance and business intelligence. I also led a major SQL Server upgrade in collaboration with Microsoft that helped us achieve resilience with 99.9% uptime, disaster recovery and faster access to analytics. Along the way, I’ve earned certifications that reflect my commitment to structured, best-practice delivery — PMP, ITIL, Agile Scrum Master, and multiple Microsoft certifications in Azure, Data, and AI. These have helped me not only deliver, but also lead teams through change, mentor talent, and manage a wide ecosystem of vendors and stakeholders.
