Sanu is an entrepreneur, an engineering leader, an online educator, and a content creator. Sanu Gupta is currently heading the engineering of the Supplier Growth vertical at Meesho which is responsible for various customer and supplier-facing products i.e. Cataloging, Taxonomy, Supplier Acquisition & Activation, Compliance, Growth Insights, and Product Ranking. The Supplier Growth vertical has several engineering pods owning 30+ microservices including several P0 services experiencing the scale of 100k RPS. Prior to Meesho, Sanu was heading the Engineering Org (Development, DevOps, Test Engineering & UX Design) at IK. Sanu has enabled product-led growth of IK resulting in hitting $44mn ARR and has scaled the engineering team from 5 to 100+ people in a year. Sanu has also set up the charters of different verticals i.e. Development, Product Management, Program Management & QA. In the leadership of Sanu, the engineering team has launched 100+ mid/large projects. Prior to IK, Sanu was running his own home services-based startup OyeLazy where he led a team of 12 people in Tech, Marketing, Operations & Finance. Prior to OyeLazy, Sanu worked with some big names in the industry i.e. Tower Research Capital and Amazon. Sanu is an alumnus of NIT Durgapur, 2012-2016 batch. Sanu has co-founded the programming club RECursion at NIT Durgapur. Some other key achievements: - Sanu has got promoted 5 times within 5 years at IK and Tower Research Capital. - Sanu has been Regional Finalist for three consecutive years at ACM ICPC Asia Regionals. - Sanu has been a problem setter and problem tester on Codechef and SPOJ. Sanu has been ranked 241st (Global) in Google APAC and 57th (Global) in Adobe Hackathon 2015.
