This is for individuals who have already completed their first session. In this session we go in depth on what to do next, and how to overcome the difficulties you might be experiencing.


In the upcoming sessions we are going to cover below points.


  1. Establishing Goals: Understand what you wants to achieve and help you to set specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals.
  2. Identifying Strengths and Weaknesses: Will conduct SWOT analysis. This self-awareness can guide Mentees towards leveraging their strengths and addressing areas that need improvement.
  3. Creating an Action Plan: Develop a step-by-step action plan to reach the set goals. Break down the journey into manageable tasks and milestones, so progress can be tracked effectively.
  4. Time Management: Will discuss time management techniques and strategies to balance your responsibilities and commitments effectively. This will be crucial for making progress toward your goals without feeling overwhelmed.
  5. Accountability and Tracking Progress: Establish a system for tracking progress on the action plan. Regularly review and discuss the progress made, and celebrate achievements, no matter how small.
  6. Challenges and Obstacles: Talk about potential challenges you might face along the way and develop strategies to overcome them. I will share my own experiences and insights to help you navigate difficult situations.
  7. Skill Development: Identify specific skills you needs to develop to achieve your goals. I will suggest resources, workshops, or courses that can enhance her skills and knowledge.
  8. Networking and Building Connections: Will discuss the importance of networking and guide you on how to build meaningful professional relationships. Offer tips on attending events, conferences, or online networking platforms.
  9. Work-Life Balance: Address the significance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Encourage you to set aside time for self-care and activities outside of you professional pursuits.
  10. Building Confidence: Help you build self-confidence and resilience by focusing on your achievements and highlighting your capabilities.
  11. Feedback and Reflection: Encourage open and honest feedback from both sides. Regularly reflect on the mentoring process to identify what's working well and areas for improvement.
  12. Personal Development: I will suggest you some books, articles, or podcasts related to personal development and growth to inspire and that motivate you further.
  13. Long-term Career Planning: Here we will discuss your long-term career aspirations and explore potential paths to reach those goals. This can involve exploring different roles, industries, or educational opportunities.
  14. Adapting to Changes: Life can be unpredictable, so discuss how to adapt to changes and remain focused on goals even during challenging times.
  15. Setting Boundaries: We will talk about establish healthy boundaries to maintain a workable mentoring relationship and avoid potential burnout.


Remember that every mentee is unique, and these discussion points should be tailored to your specific needs and goals. The mentoring relationship is a two-way street, and as a Mentor my support and guidance will play a crucial role in Mentees personal and professional development.
