Building wireless systems, formalizing them into standards--pure bliss! Wireless communication systems are part of everyone's life, and designing reliable and cost-effective systems is what keeps me awake. My world revolves around cellular networks: standards, protocols, and systems. Most of our works are demonstrated at big academic and industrial venues. Currently, I am working on mmWave Beam Management, Open Source 5G Networks, and AI. I firmly believe as a researcher one should not straight away pick a fancy and futuristic innovative problem to work on but rather choose something that directly addresses problems the world is facing now. If the solution to the problem turns out to be fancy so be it, but never the other way around.
