I've been around for over 20 years and have spent the last decade building big data and machine learning platforms for some of the biggest names in the Fortune 500. Someone who can lift heavy weights, race on a bike like a pro, and write code that could change the world (or at least get us a decent paycheck). When I’m not busy working out or crunching numbers, you can find me curled up with a good book or catching the latest blockbuster at the theater. I’m also a movie lover, and I won’t rest until I’ve seen every Marvel movie ever made (even the bad ones).A vivid gamer since childhood. (Oh Mario you’re still my favorite ). About 7 years ago, I decided to take on one of the riskiest job profiles out there - being a startup founder. I've founded/co-founded two companies since then, both of which have had successful exits. My last venture was focused on developing a low-code/no-code platform for Data Engineers & Data Scientists, which I spent 18 months building before selling it off to a very recent unicorn in Dec 2020. These days, I'm heading up the data science portfolio for a large market research company, leading a team in building a large number of machine learning models on AWS and developing MLOps platforms for them. I am a father to a teenager who thinks he knows everything, a husband to an artistic and talented wife who definitely knows everything, and a son to hardworking parents who actually do know everything. It's like I'm living in a never-ending cycle of being the least knowledgeable person in the room. But hey, at least I'm surrounded by love and talent, right? I just hope my teenager doesn't inherit my terrible sense of humor and my wife doesn't realize how much of a goofball I am. And as for my parents, well, they'll always be smarter than me - it's just a fact of life. I'm just happy they raised me to be the best dad and husband I can be, even if I'm still the family clown.
