Significant achievements - As a marine classification surveyor >Started up the Thailand office for my organisation, including legalising and obtaining recognised organization( R O) status from the Thailand Maritime department(The Ship Standard Bureau).Served as a country manager for my organisation's(IRCLASS') Thailand office. > Started it up for commercial operations and obtained recognition from the Thailand Maritime Authority(Ship Standard Bureau) allowing IRCLASS to carry out statutory functions for Thailand flagged vessels. > Developed new clients for the viability of the Thailand Office. > Led a small, multinational team towards starting up the office and complying with the applicable legal/statutory and commercial requirements for the office to be sustainable and compliant, including undergoing a flag state audit. - As a marine Chief engineer - Acquired twin Certificates of Competency Class 1 (unlimited) Motor & Steam and serving on board LNG fuelled steam turbine propelled LNGCs, and motor driven oil tankers as Chief engineer. - As a superintendent - Served as technical QHSE superintendent with Synergy Marine Group and presently serving as Manager, QHSE for Zodiac Maritime . To sum up, have been entrusted by 2 different organisations, NYK Line and Indian Register of Shipping, for additional responsibility and have been able to deliver in both situations, while keeping to deadlines. 1) Firstly with NYK Line, was selected for LNG /Steam vessel training from a large pool of tanker Chief Engineers, culminating in acquiring a combined(motor& steam) unlimited Class 1 license and rank experience on LNG vessels in 2004. 2)Secondly , with Indian Register of Shipping, was chosen to head the organisations' office in Bangkok, Thailand as a country manager and acquire flag authorisation as an R O , which was completed in 2017. with the granting of full RO status to IR CLASS following an audit.
