A teacher, writer, photographer, and artist, I have been in the field of Special Needs for the last 14 years. A lifelong learner, I seek answers constantly for who I am and what my purpose is. Life has given me many opportunities, experiences, and infinite learnings. I constantly strive to reach out to one more child, one more family, and one more person... I have had the opportunity to work with the best minds, teachers & colleagues who have taught me valuable lessons, and my students who have changed how I see myself as an educator over the years of my work. I am not a perfect teacher, the best writer, an amazing photographer, or a very good artist, but I try. And I will keep trying, to make today better than yesterday. My work as an independent facilitator at The Learning Space involves working with students and parents to develop IEPs, plan resources and work on reading & comprehension. I also conduct training sessions on inclusion and intervention. I am open to sharing my learning & experience with schools, teachers, parents & students.
