I’m Samihan Sharma, a pre-final year Biotechnology undergraduate at Delhi Technological University, currently ranked 2nd in the department with a 9.3 CGPA. My academic journey is driven by a strong interest in interdisciplinary research, particularly at the intersection of biotechnology, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, and artificial intelligence. I’ve gained research and project experience at premier institutions, including IISc Bengaluru, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, AIIMS, CSIR, and the Brain Behaviour Research Foundation of India (BBRFI), where I worked on areas such as EEG analysis, neural decoding, behavioral neuroscience, biosensors, drug delivery systems, and AI-based healthcare models. I’m an IBRO Neuroscience Mentee, an HPAIR Delegate, and a speaker and mentor with Simply Neuroscience, which has strengthened my exposure to global research culture and scientific leadership. Beyond research, I actively mentor students, helping them with research planning, competitive exam strategies, internships, CV building, and long-term career guidance in biotech and neuroscience. I aim to pursue advanced research and contribute to translational science that connects laboratory discoveries with real-world impact.
