Sameer Neve is an Environmental Engineer at WSP, bringing with him several years of academic and industry experience in soil remediation, water treatment, permitting, governance, and academic research. In addition to environmental remediation projects, his broad skill set includes managing and carrying out environmental due diligence studies and Phase I and Phase II environmental site evaluations. Sameer also has proven experience in sustainability projects and event management. Sameer has developed and managed subsurface soil investigations, groundwater monitoring, soil vapor sampling, stormwater management plans, environmental due diligence for the purchase of real estate, and comprehensive environmental services to support initiatives for both rehabilitation and new construction. Sameer’s doctoral research work highlights the production and use of biochar for environmental remediation. In addition to a patent for tertiary water treatment technology, Sameer also has over 12 journal articles and has served as a peer reviewer for more than 30 scientific publications. Sameer was also featured on the Environmental Professionals Radio’s podcast on his experience in the field of environmental engineering, his expertise on biochar, and his field experiences. Recently, Sameer was awarded the 40 Under 40 Award by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists.
