👋 Hi there! My name is Samarth. By day, I'm an AI/ML Engineering Senior Consultant at Booz Allen and content creator. By night, or more like afternoon, I'm a martial artist, guitarist, and mentor. My highly rated skills are data science, data engineering, and AI. 💻 I started programing in high school when I took Java, Python, SQL, and ML introductory courses. Since then, I've always had a love for software development, went on to pursue a B.S. in Compute Science from UMD, am doing an M.S. in Business Analytics at UMD, and done 5 SWE summer internships at 2 Fortune 500 tech companies (Salesforce and ManTech). 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Along with my passion for technology, I've always had a deep desire to help people and provide my knowledge and experience to future students. Having gone through the hiring process for summer internships for several summers, done multiple Hacker Rank problems to prepare for technical and case interviews, and studied countless hours to succeed within my computer science and data analytics classes, I can relate to the challenges many students face throughout their tech careers. Nonetheless, I wish to pass on my experience and help students achieve their career goals. ⌚ What I'm currently working on: 💡 Building my personal brand on LinkedIn by developing data science and career-focused content including early career strategies, techniques on how to approach the job application process, perform resume reviews, and optimize their time management 💡 Guiding students and fellow peers how to utilize LinkedIn for their job search and networking strategies 💡 Further building technical skills including backend software engineering (Java, Node.js, JavaScript, SQL, relational databases), cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and analytics (Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, ML) throughout my full-time job at Booz Allen and in grad school.
