Currently a first year student in Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Master's in Sustainable Catalysis with full Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degree Scholarship. I am also the class representative of my batch. I completed my Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry from St. Stephen's College, New Delhi, India. I was an INSPIRE Scholar. I am a Mitsubishi UFJ Scholar. I am a Purshottam Ghai Scholarship awardee and Kesar Devi Scholarship awardee as well. I have received multiple college level awards and University level academic excellence awards. I was also the President of the Chemistry Society, St. Stephen's College, Delhi University for the term of 2023-2024. I aim to purse a career in research in synthetic-organic chemistry and total synthesis. My main area of interest is synthetic organic synthesis techniques. I have gained insightful hands on experience through a 2 month summer internship in Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences, DRDO, Delhi in 2024 where I learned about harnessing nano-chemistry to create solutions against harmful radiation, I had further pursued a 7 weeks full time internship at IIT Kanpur in 2023 on Enantioselective synthesis of compounds using Dynamic Kinetic Resolution (DKR) techniques prior to which I was in a 5 month part time internship at University of Delhi in the synthesis of heterocyclic and carbocyclic compounds prior to which I had done a 8 week internship in Spectroscopy in IIT Indore in 2022. I was also part of a research visit in a Chlor-Alkali Caustic Soda and Chlorine Production Plant in Dahej, Gujrat which helped me gain a significant experience in the same. Other than Chemistry, I was an active member and a council member of the Finance and Investment Cell and Debating Society of my college. I have actively taken part in casebook preparations through IFSA for the year 2022 and 2023. I am also a certified belayer and climbing team member at The Hiking Club, St. Stephen’s College. I have interest in Alt. Proteins as well and I have completed a Alt. Protein Fundamentals Programme from Cambridge Alt. Protein Society.
