I am a first generation college student. After completing my undergrad studies in commerce from India, I worked for five years in the consulting and aviation industry. Later, I decided to pursue an MBA and got offers from several Top 20 programs and decided to attend the Fuqua School of Business at Duke. Currently, I work in the Strategy and Ops group at Apple. Breaking into a top tier MBA program was a demanding, confusing, yet rewarding experience. Post that, coming from a non traditional background, breaking into FAANG was ever harder.
